Answers To Your Questions

I made these lessons to document the best workflows I've found to craft music - so you can skip the years of frustrating trial and error.
Hi! My name is Avery, and I've been making music in Logic Pro since 2008. Over these years I've
- Finished music for an artist project that won a few awards and reached 1,000,000+ streams.
- Built a music business with a friend where we finished hundreds of songs for TV, web videos & brands - landing in over 10,000 projects and 140,000 YouTube videos.
- Posted music ideas to social media for over 365 days straight, building my MIDI & sample pack in the process.
I've put in my 10,000+ hours - but I'm not done yet! And I have so much to share from this experience.
My love is for the craft itself, and sharing what I learn along the way.
What you learn here will help you with every step in the music production process, including:
- MAKING IDEAS: Composing chords, melodies & song sketches.
- MAKING SOUNDS: Crafting sounds from scratch.
- FINISHING YOUR IDEAS: Planning your songs using reference tracks and templates.
- THINKING CLEARLY: Thinking like a professional craftsperson, instead of a hobbyist.
It's not about how to make whatever the trendy music is - it's about how to make music with intention - with the control & flow of a music craftsperson.
As you improve these skills it's like taking off the "hype glasses": you start to hear through songs to the fundamentals underneath, and music as a whole just makes so much more sense.
Because making music that feels alive isn't about finding some secret skill - it's about learning to think in a structured way, how to hear the emotions of each note, and how to see the whole process clearly.
Because if you can do that, you make music that sounds better, is more connected to your energy, and you feel better doing it.
That's what I want to help you do through my lessons - create music that feels great to listen to, and feels great to make.
Don't think of this as a course to race through. Think of it like a collection of fundamentals & workflows you can revisit over and over again.
I hope by sharing these lessons it will help get you on the path of the music craftsperson.
Go inside 20+ projects across styles
From project setup to songwriting to mixing & mastering. See how similar workflows are being used, no matter what I'm making.
Every project shared has either been released or licensed into real-world projects.
